El Rincon

There is a new Tapas restaurant, called El Rincon, in my street so I had to check it out! I live in a really touristic street so there are a lot of restaurants which means that if you want to open a new one you need to bring something special and I think they succeeded! Their tapas is different because they have some dishes I never tasted before and they also made a little store where you can buy all kinds of spanish food and drinks.

The interior is really sober, they worked with all kinds of brown to keep that simple look, the second part of the restaurant has a special wall made of wooden slats that brings something extra to the restaurant.

My absolute favourite, the chorizo with a baked quail egg.

Le Nouveau Village.

The best part of Paris to find an amazing restaurant is in Quartier Latin, there you have every type of restaurant you can think of. We decided to go to Morroco, we chose this really cute couscous restaurant called Le nouveau village and because of the weather we could sit half outside, half inside! The staff was really friendly and they helped us to pick the best morrocan dishes!

Pastilla with chicken, onions and spices, this was a really special dish because it tasted so sweet, the white you see on top is actually Sugar so it was like a pie filled with chicken!

Morrocan soup, the lady explained that this is what they eat in the morning when it's ramadam because this soup contains all the vitamiens they need to get through the day.

Grilled lamb chops and lamb shoulder with vegetables and couscous.

I love Morrocan Mint Tea and Morrocan Pastries, they're so sweet and really delicious.

I was wearing my black&white flower pants with my simple black blouse, that has some studs on the collar and my long white blazer. My bag is a white vintage Gucci with a bamboo handle and the shoes are just simple gold heels!

After our dinner we went to a Cocktail Bar called Georges Café, first we had some normal cocktails but then we saw a group of girls sipping cocktails out of a baby bottle so we decided to try those cocktails, I took the Simpson Cocktail and my boyfriend took the Garfield Cocktail, it's filled with vodka and then they added all kinds of fruit flavours!

Gent.

This monday we decided to make a small roadtrip to Gent, it's only 30 minutes away but I never really went there so when we had to pick a destination for our girls day the decision was easily made! One of my best friends was my guide for the day, she showed me her favourite coffee bar, restaurant and Icecream spot in Gent !

We started the day at Barista, I took a Soy Chai Tea Latte with a muesli cookie, Axelle had a Caramel Macchiato with some cake.

The 'Candy' from Gent are the authentic Cuberdons known as the 'Noses', we bought them at this cute stand that was filled with cuberdons!

We lunched at Godot, it's a typical belgian restaurant full of delicious things, the sun was shining so we sat outside for the first time this year! We both chose the grilled tuna with yogurt and fries!

Our last stop of the day was Moochie, the frozen yogurt concept store. You have to follow four steps to reach the ulimate Moochie Frozen Yogurt, first you have to choose the size of your cup then you have to add your flavour , step three are the toppings and the last step is the sauce!

My Frozen Yogurt was a Banana yohurt with three kinds of toppings : Blueberries, Crunchy Nougat and Gummy Bears with a cuberdon sauce!

They also sell Bubble Tea and they use the same system as Cup O' with the Candy Soda, you have to choose your tea then a syrup and the last step you have to add is the 'Fruit Pearl'.
