Bagels & Beans.

 

 

 

My boyfriend and I decided to do more small citytrips on our day off so our first destination was Breda in the Netherlands. I've been to Breda before but never really to visit the city, our first stop was at the Bagels & Beans because I had no idea that all the stores were only opening at 11h30 or even later on a monday so when we arrived there was litteraly no one on the streets.

 

 

 

Being a huge 'The OC' fan I know the importance of a bagel (check the video), I just love them and everywhere I see a bagel shop I need to eat one so when I saw this Bagels & Beans store I was really exctited. I took the cinnamon-raisins bagel with bananas and some more cinnamon  and a fresh raspberry juice.

Carousel.

 

 

Visiting Beaune my sister and I went back to our childhood, we took a spin around an old skool carousel in the middle of Beaune. When we walked back to the car we saw some older people on the carousel and after a lot of nagging I got my sister on the horse next to me, sometimes you just need to let go and have some old skool fun. Beaune.

 

 

After visiting Lyon we still had one day left of our holiday so we decided to visit two little villages in one day and one of those villages was Beaune, they told us it was a really gorgeous little town so to be honest I was a little dissapointed when we arrived. The buildings were really beautiful but there wasn't a lot to visit and there was just a small shopping street so we were done pretty soon but on the other side I had a delicious lunch. When I'm on holiday I always try to eat some typical dishes and this time I tried some kind of cake with honey, goatcheese and fresh cream, it was so good that we asked the recipe to try it at home.
