When it's the end of august I'm always longing for the fall to begin, I know a lot of people hate it and they want summer to last forever but I love that fall feeling especially when I see the new collections full of gorgeous winter coats, hats, gloves and the return of all those dark colours but for now the weather is stil amazing so I pulled out my shorts again and wore them with a green 'woodcutter' shirt, some brown boots and my vintage Hogan bag!
From the end of august until the end of december it's always very busy behind the scenes of our shop ' Lili&Martha', all the new collections are coming in which means we have to price and photograph everything, we have to prepare our annual fair, we have to think about our Christmas themes, set up our Christmas market and this year we have our outlet store and the webshop to take care of as well. So we'll give you a lot of Lili&Martha news flashes with al our new collections and behind the scenes photos. My boyfriend and I had a movie night out and we went to see 'We're the Millers' in 'avant premiere' at the kinepolis. I had pretty high expectations for this movie and I must say they fulfilled them all, the story is all about four people ( a drugdealer, a virgin, a stripper and a homeless girl) who become a family to smuggle a litttle bit of drugs from Mexico to the United States at least that is what they think, when they arrive at their destination in Mexico with their all american mobile home to pick up the small package of drugs it turns out that it's about a whole lot more than that, their mobile home is stuffed with two tons of drugs and they will have to try and cross the international border, another thing they don't know is that this drugs wasn't actually meant for them but for a powerfull drug lord from Mexico. Along the way they also meet this real all american family who will help the Millers without knowing about the drugs because one of them is a DEA agent , mix all of these circumstances together and you'll get a hilarious comedy with amazing actors!
If you go and watch 'We're the Millers' in the cinema, you really have to stay seated until the end especially if you're a 'friends' fan because at the end they show all kinds of bloopers and the last blooper is all about friends, there's a hilarious part in the movie where the whole Miller family sings the song ' Chasing Waterfalls' but instead of that song there's another one coming out of the stereo to tease Jennifer Aniston!

When it's the end of august I always buy a few new fall items and every year I tell myself that I won't wear them before september but somehow I always end up wearing them the next day! I wore my new heart printed shirt with a leather pants, my really really old black boots, a statement necklace and my chanel bag.
After our breakfast at Bagels & Beans there was still no one on the street and it was still one hour before the stores were going to open their doors so we had the luminous idea to do a boattrip. Everything started off quit well, we found those little boats quite fast, our driver was so friendly, talking with so much passion about his city and we were really having a blast but after ten minutes hell broke lose!! All of a sudden it was raining not normal, there was thunder and lighting, there we were in a really small boat in Breda in the middle of a huge storm and we had nowhere to go, luckily we had umbrellas, my boyfriend and I looked at each other and we just started laughing!! It didn't stop raining until we reached the end of our tour, we were both soaked but we had an amazing time with our very passionate tour guide.
I really like wearing short jumpsuits in summer, they're so easy to wear and you can wear them with absolutely everything but they're not easy to find so when I saw this jeans jumpsuit with this really light jeans colour and a vintage look to it I had to have it. I immediately wore it the next day with my matchy matchy vans in the exact same colour and some gold Jewels.
Lucie has been discovering her new home step by step but the other day I thought I had lost her, she was no where to be seen and I had absolutely no idea where she could be but luckily little lucie has no secrets for Mathilde's nose and Mathilde showed me Lucie's hiding spot, under the blankets of our sofa!!
