You can not go to Venice without doing the gondola boat trip around the city so on our second day we decided to do the trip! It was a really misty day so we were doubting to wait for the next day but the day after it was raining so luckily we did the gondola ride. We had a black gondola with all kinds of gold and red elements which were really gorgeous,unfortunatly our 'driver' was not wearing a typical uniform with the striped shirt and the captain hat but it was a really romantic trip and for me it was the best way to discover Venice because in the streets it was so crowded!
